A soup with some kind of vegetable I'd never eaten before, mildy sour and very spicy. Hakka Salt Baked Chicken ([盐焗鸡](http://langdict.com/zh/en/%E7%9B%90%E7%84%97%E9%B8%A1))

Chopped chicken on the bone steam-baked with rice and served with very salty sauce on the side.  Cooking the rice and chicken together creates slightly oily and savory quality of the rice which typifies this dish. A thick hot and spicy sauce for either dipping your cooked hot pot fixin's in or mixing with other sauces.  "Numbing" refers to the feeling in your mouth after consuming the Sichuan peppercorn, a key ingredient in this sauce.
