Bowl of veggie and pork dumplings from Jiaozi Yuan in Tianhou, Hong Kong
A hole-in-the-wall northern Chinese style dumpling restaurant. As per the norm in Chinese dumping restaurants, they make the dumplings from scratch in the store. Friendly staff and an English menu. Flimsy tables, low stools, and a bit crowded, even when not that busy leave something to be desired in terms of dining experience. Dumplings are decent but nothing to write home about.
