A vegetarian take on Chili Smothered Boiled Fish. Tofu slices of medium thickness stand in for the fish fillets, free as well of the attendant fish bones. Filled out with rice noodles smothered in chili peppers, Sichuan peppercorns, and chili oil. Quite spicy. Excellent served over rice.
In a departure from normal Sichuanese presentation, this dish is served together with the chilies.
