Opened by a Chinese movie star, this unique restaurant always seems to be packed with a hip young Beijing clientèle. While decent Thai dishes can be ordered à la carte, the real attraction at Lemon Leaf is the Thai hotpot. Both the hot pot soup base and the dippin’ sauce have distinct spicy and tangy Thai options, which we heartily endorse. This is an ideal restaurant for introducing hotpot to skeptical foreign audiences not used to cooking their food on the table in front of them.
